Market Report Q1 2023

Looking at quarter-over-quarter, New York is set for a spring awakening. Contract activity jumped 14.5%, as buyers and sellers decided to move on with their lives after waiting on the sidelines.  A total of $4.5 billion in transactions occurred in Q1.  This volume resembles the historical average versus the frenzied buying of 2021.

The market today is more sustainable and balanced. The challenge in New York City as elsewhere around the country is the lack of inventory. When homes are priced right and turnkey, buyers come knocking and trades are done.  Manhattan is still a valued asset class to be part of.  Contact Jaylon and Colleen of the J Brigham Team to help you!
