The Bronx Zoo’s sparkling seasonal outdoor celebration features animated lights and LED displays of animals from around the world. The zoo will dazzle with 400 wildlife lanterns representing 100 species spread across an expansive area of the zoo.
Visit the Winter Village at Bryant Park, and enjoy over 180 shopping and food kiosks. After eating and shopping skate on the 17,000 sq foot rink and sip a festive cocktail at The Lodge.
Enjoy GingerBread Lane—the world’s largest gingerbread village at Chelsea Markets until Jan. 7, 2024. Artist Jon Lovitch whips up thousands of pounds of icing and bakes hundreds of pounds of gingerbread to create massive gingerbread towns.
Grand Central Holiday Fair, one of the most conveniently located holiday markets runs through December 24. It is the destination for the work of 75 local food and craft vendors.
Shine Bright at Hudson Yards, where you will see 2 million twinkling white lights. The display includes 115 miles of string lights, 725 evergreen trees dressed to create a gleaming forest, and hot air balloon decorations.
Washington Square Park Tree, which sits perfectly inside the park’s famous arch. Visit the beautiful lit 45-foot tree throughout the holiday season, lit from 4pm-1am daily.
Luminaries at Brookfield Plaza, the 640 colorful lanterns is a magical display open until Jan. 6, 2024, where visitors will be able to send a motion-activated wish into the glowing lanterns above.
