
Step 1: Getting Started
i. Walk through your home with us for suggestions on improvements needed, if any
ii. Together, we will determine the listing price and marketing strategy
iii. We will sign paperwork to list your home, get professional photos and floor plans done
iv. Pre-market the home to Compass agents before the official launch – when appropriate
Step 2: On the Market
i. We will syndicate listings on all public facing web sites as well as broker databases
ii. Accommodate showings and open houses
iii. We will follow up regularly and provide you with feedback
iv. We will receive and review offers with you
v. We will negotiate the best terms on any offer while consulting with you at all times
vi. You will accept an offer and with your attorney’s blessing sign a contract


Step 3: Board Approval of Your Buyer
i. Both coops and condos have an extensive purchase application process. We help the buyer put together a detailed and accurate board package to ensure board approval
ii. If you’re selling in a coop, we will help prep the buyer for the board interview. In condos, there is no interview process
Step 4: Final Walk Through
Remember to leave the home in the same condition as when you signed the contract to prevent any surprises at the final walk through taking within 24 hours of the closing.


Step 5: Close on Your Home
This is where you hand your keys to the buyer. Congratulations, you did it!
